Craig Jones, created Cheesies in the summer of 2019 because he was mad about snacks. Not any old crap that’s out there though. Damn tasty ones that don’t contain an ingredient list as long as your arm. That’s why he started Cheesies. To give the people something they didn’t even realise they needed. 100% cheese, baked til crunchy.
Cheesies is a simple idea: take cubes of cheese, then dry and bake them until you have crunchy popped balls of deliciousness. Cheesies are not just any snack. Not a cheese-flavoured snack. Not a snack that offers a cheese-like substance. A snack that’s made from actual cheese, and nothing else. One ingredient, that’s it. With all the goodness of cheese, Cheesies are filling, easy to snack on the move, and gobsmackingly tasty. And if you’re not sold yet, Cheesies contain no carbs, are high in protein, gluten-free and vegetarian.

Woolcool produce sustainable insulated packaging for the shipment of chilled and frozen goods. This pioneering Staffordshire company that harnesses the properties of natural materials to create environmentally responsible products has been awarded a coveted 2022 Queen’s Award for Enterprise, for Sustainable Development. Stone-based Woolcool has spent more than a decade investing millions of pounds developing temperature-controlled packaging products for the food and pharmaceutical markets, which use 100% sheep’s wool as an alternative to polluting manmade insulation such as polystyrene.
This innovative use of wool – which is recyclable, reusable, renewable, compostable, abundant and part of the natural carbon cycle – means customers use less fuel in their supply chain, reduce their carbon footprint and help avoid tonnes of polystyrene from going into landfill sites across the globe.
Managing Director Josie Morris MBE said:
“It is a huge honour to receive a second Queen’s Award for Enterprise, this time for Sustainable Development – following the Royal recognition we received for innovation in 2018.
“After more than a decade of research and development into the properties of wool, which has proven conclusively that it outperforms polluting manmade insulators, this award helps drive home the message that the use of natural materials offers a truly sustainable alternative for businesses that want to seriously address the climate challenges we all face.
“Coming after the challenges of the last two years, this award also reflects the hard work and resilience of the entire Woolcool team, as well as our valued wider family of suppliers, clients, customers and friends.”
Their packaging, found within our food & drink experiences, can be used in the home and garden. Great for bedding in the garden, people use them for cushions and pets love it.

Ask Mummy & Daddy was founded by Kane Dowell, in 2017. He wanted to create a range of premium, high-concept sweets that were perfect to give as gift boxes.
"I’ve always had a sweet tooth: as a child, I’d go to the 1p sweet shop and as big a bag of sweets as I could afford. When I visited places like Hong Kong, the USA and Australia as an adult, I was amazed by their sweets: they had so many inventive flavours and incredible packaging. I was inspired to create my own unique assorted confectionery for gifting, all made in the UK with biodegradable or recyclable packaging. From old fashioned sweets to the country’s first cocktail candy floss … We are experimenting and having fun!
Ask Mummy & Daddy is proof that anyone can overcome personal challenges to pursue their dreams. I’m dyslexic and in school I had little to no support. I ended up leaving education at the age of 15 without a single GCSE and by the age of 21, I was neck-deep in debt. Thankfully, I found I could learn loads on the job and was able to turn things around, becoming operations manager for a successful food business. Adversity makes you stronger. It’s okay to take risks if you learn from your mistakes and can solve problems creatively. We’re all human! I like to think the brand’s playfulness and personalised candy reflect this."
Initially a side hustle, Ask Mummy & Daddy grew organically as word of mouth spread and customer numbers grew. Now the company is a full-time operation with our own production, marketing and events teams. You can find their sweets online and in national outlets as well as family-owned shops across the UK.

]]>So we set out to create a coffee that is better for you, and TrueStart was born!
We launched our first product in 2015 - our now legendary Barista Grade Instant Coffee. We developed the first coffee in the world to provide a boost with no crash thanks to a reliable, stable caffeine content.
]]>My husband Simon and I originally had the idea for TrueStart 7 years ago, when we were triathlon training and on the road a lot with work. We were drinking loads of coffee to keep us going, and it just wasn't doing the job! I'm quite sensitive to caffeine, and sometimes I would get heart palpitations or even feel sick after a cuppa, when other times I felt like it didn't give me a boost at all.
We discovered something pretty mindblowing - that the caffeine level in coffee varies massively! This totally explained how we were feeling, and we thought - surely we're not the only people in the world who think a reliably caffeinated, super clean coffee would be AWESOME - coffee that makes you feel great every time, with no crash and no jitters. Coffee that is super clean, and doesn't need filling with milk and sugar.
So we set out to create a coffee that is better for you, and TrueStart was born!
We launched our first product in 2015 - our now legendary Barista Grade Instant Coffee. We developed the first coffee in the world to provide a boost with no crash thanks to a reliable, stable caffeine content.
Our coffee is sourced from where I used to live in Colombia - it's super clean and tastes amazing black or white, hot or cold. It's better for you.
In September 2018, we proudly opened TrueStart's very first wild for life Coffee Shop / Cafe Bar in Bristol's city centre, as part of an exciting collaboration with the fantastic new startup co-working space, Runway East. Bringing our vibrant, healthy, hyper-sustainable approach to coffee to life in this way was a dream come true.

With this belief, Derrick Neleman started his study to become a biodynamic farmer. After his training, he ended up on the vineyards in Spain. When he realized how culturally historically important wine is as a binder in a civilization, everything fell into place. Derrick wanted to make the most beautiful wines in optimal cooperation with nature to enable people to experience how beautiful & special life is.
They believe if you take good care of the people who make the wine, then you make better wine & we completely agree! This reflects their personal belief of nurturing the human spirit, in all its variety & glory. With better wine they create more special moments for the people who drink the wines.

There are no thickeners, stablisers or artificial ingredients in any of their sauces, simply good ingredients and time. Bored of the mainstream, they came up with an alternative, choosing high quality ingredients to create better and more flavoursome sauces. They make no compromises, if it doesn’t add flavour it doesn’t go in. Sauce Shop want to challenge the status quo and elevate sauce to the next level by creating something different – extraordinarily punchy flavours carefully crafted with expertise.
In 2014, Pam and James came to the realisation that sauces available in supermarkets weren’t doing food justice. They often contained water as one of the main ingredients and usually some sort of thickener. Sauces should be about flavour and the big brand stuff just didn't cut it. They cooked up a small batch of Smoky Chipotle Ketchup and enjoyed it at home with friends. It went down so well that the couple decided to make a few more flavours. Just like that, Sauce Shop was born.

Turner Hardy & Co. is the result of 15 years of lively banter fueled by childhood friends, Eddie Turner and Hugo Hardman’s love of proper foods and fine drinks. After Hugo was served a poor quality Virgin Mary, an idea was born to create their own proper tomato juices.
Their innovative drinks are made from squeezed tomatoes that are hand-picked in small batches fresh from the Isle of Wight. This freshness gives a truly flavorsome base, which is then properly spiced to create the most sublime drinks. They wanted a ‘not from concentrate’ premium tomato juice. Their tomato juices are high in lycopene, low in salt, sugar and are gluten free. The aim of Turner Hardy & Co has been to spread the story about the many health benefits of tomatoes; on their own, as a premium soft drink or as part of a brilliant Bloody Mary recipe.

They are inspired by 16th century Swedish baking techniques, where the crispbread (or knäckebröd) was preserved on a pole over fires to keep crisp and dry over the long winter months. They honour this through stamping a hole through each larger sized crispbread before baking.

]]>Between the 1st and 5th centuries, the estate was home to a Roman settlement and a medieval village was established here before the Norman invasion of 1066. In the 14th century, the land was purchased by the Skipwith family and in the 17th century, it was bought by the Massingberd family. The Massingberds, who became the Massingberd-Mundys in the 19th century, owned South Ormsby Estate for almost 400 years. Today, the estate is under the custodianship of Jon and Jan Thornes who, with the support of leading experts and skilled craftspeople, are working hard to secure a bright future for this historical Lincolnshire estate.
The South Ormsby Estate is working to create a brighter future for the local area by supporting the growth of a modern and dynamic rural economy while enhancing the natural beauty and character of the estate. Their vision aims to make this historic country estate a better place to live, work, learn and play. Renovations, sustainable development and business support are the foundations of their ambitious plans for the estate’s future. The estate is working to promote entrepreneurship, support agricultural diversification, establish new micro-businesses and deliver new opportunities for self-employment and home working.
