Crackd is owned by Plant Heads which has been set up as a stand-alone Joint Venture between the chefs at Bingham & Jones and Sarah Dean (owner of Noble Foods). Jonny Bingham & David Jones have run their own successful food development business for a number of years, and have previously created many other vegan products within that market. They were acutely aware of the growth in the plant-based food market and had the skillset required to develop alternatives that did not compromise on taste.
Crackd The No-Egg Egg is 100% plant based, made from pea protein, cold pressed to retain both flavour and nutrients and rich in vitamin B12 whilst containing no allergens or fat. Bingham and Jones tried about 46 different plant-protein sources, before deciding peas were the best. It is guaranteed there are no artificial colours or flavourings within each bottle. Each bottle in fact, is equivalent to 8 eggs!
