Our Show-stopping Dedham Vale, Tomahawk Steak is Dry Aged for 28 Days for the most mouth wateringly tender, succulent Steak Experience.

An opportunity to get your hands on dry aged, totally grass fed beef, butchered into the most fabulous Tomahawk Steak, from a small family farm in the Dedham Vale. 

Traditional British breeds grow well on grass producing beautiful, well-marbelled meat.  Dedham Vale cattle, graze exclusively on grass – out in the fields and water meadows of the Stour in the summer, and in winter, on hay harvested from the farm.  The animals do not receive any cereals or supplementary feed at all, just grass!

Ondarre Reserva Magnum 2014 (Garnacha, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)

Bodegas Ondarre produces this Ondarre Reserva Magnum 2014, a red wine from the region of Rioja made of tempranillo, mazuelo and garnacha of 2014 and has an alcoholic content of 14%. The Ondarre Reserva Magnum 2014 is the ideal showstopping red to combine with cheese and tapas.

Flavour notes: Leather, vanilla & spice of traditionally made Rioja enveloped in a smooth & textured palate. Balanced, with ripe, wild strawberries & integrated tannins through to a long, lingering finish.

About the Maker

Bodegas Ondarre, founded in 1986, belongs to the Bodegas Olarra Group, one of the most renowned wineries in the Rioja Denomination of Origin, but with a different character in their wines. The vineyards are situated on Rioja Valley’s northern hills on south-facing slopes, at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level. The vines, which have an average age of 25 years, are planted in uneven terrain due to several streams that run down the mountains that mark the northern border of Rioja. The soils are generally poor in nutrients and very shallow, just 30 to 35 centimetres in depth, which encourage the vines to send their roots deeper in search of nutrients and water. The soils vary from plot to plot, but there is a prevalence of clay based soils with high iron and chalk content. The clay content retains water, which nourishes the vines during the warm summers and the iron content is an essential nutrient for photosynthesis.

Bodegas Ondarre Rioja Reserva 2017 75cl/ 13.5% Abv.

Bodegas Ondarre Rioja Reserva is a deep, concentrated ageworthy Rioja, aged in oak for 16 months, then a further 8 months in bottle before release. Made with 75% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuela and 10% Garnacha, this Rioja Reserva has fine grained tannins and concentrated dark fruit flavours.

Each grape variety was fermented separately in temperature controlled vats at 28 to 30°C, which lasted for between 16 to 18 days. The wine was blended and then aged for 16 months in American and French oak Bordeaux type casks imparting subtle oak complexity. During the maturation the wine was racked four times, in order to gently extract phenolic compounds by oxygenating the wine. This produced a softer wine which exhibits great varietal fruit character. An absolute showstopper with any Cheese or Tapas Board.

Sancerre Domaine Serge Laloue 2020 75cl/ 13.5% Abv – Rose

Our founders personal favourite this light and crisp rose is from the beautiful French, Loire Valley. A deliciously silky and balanced rose offering wild strawberry and kiwi layered with notes of watermelon and grapefruit, fresh with lovely purity of fruit.

Main Grape: Pinot Noir

This Loire rose is pale salmon in colour. On the nose there are delicate apricots and gooseberries. On the palate the are apricots joined by a little mint and pepper and a long lingering finish.

Reguengo De Malgaco 75cl/13.0% Abv – Dry White Wine
Reguengo de Melgaco Alvarinho Vinho Verde 2020, of Portugal

Mouth-watering, tropical white wine with a juicy finish.

Dry white wine, 75cl. 100% Alvarinho from Moncão in Vinho Verde, Portugal. 13.0% ABV. Suitable for Vegans.

Fresh and fruity Portuguese white with aromas that will transport you to the sunshine Atlantic coast of northern Portugal. Intense tropical fruit and citrus lure you into the palate where you'll discover juicy apple, peach and pear fruit, finish with a crisp, lemon-like zing. Created by Abel Codesso.

Pairs beautifully with: Grilled white fish or a whole host of seafood.

Cheese pairing: If you can find it, try with Amarelo de Beira Baixa artisan cheese. If not, it's a great match with Manchego.

Potts Chilli Hot Horseradish Sauce 

A superb hot horseradish which Owen has combined with wholegrain mustard and a little chilli for some extra bite. It's terrific as an accompaniment for roast beef or smoked fish.

Potts Three Peppercorn Sauce with Brandy

A favourite in the IMP' household, using rich green peppercorns, spicy black pepper and fragrant pink peppercorns along with a good splash of brandy.

Simply warm in the pan after you have cooked your steak and pour over. Also great with duck breast or in a potato gratin.

Cherry Vine Tomatoes 

Perfect as part of a salad, don't be fooled by their size as these little beauties are still bursting with juice and flavour. They have a much sweeter flavour than ordinary tomatoes.

Mixed Leaf Salad

A crisp mix of green and red lettuce leaves, with a mild flavour. 1 of your 5 a day. Washed and ready to eat.

Melody Potatoes 

Melody is a smooth skinned potato with a yellow flesh which it quite dry. Ideal for mashing, boiled or wedges. Purchased directly from the farm for your fork!

Cartmel Sticky Chocolate Pudding

The creators at Cartmel were asked by their chocoholic friends: ‘Why don’t you make a Sticky Chocolate one?” Good question, they thought – so they did!

It all began with their famous Sticky Toffee Pudding. They started baking it in the shop’s back kitchen and selling it in the front a good 20 years ago. But it didn’t take too long for this magnificent creation to reach the market. And here it is listed as an IMP favourite: as rich and decadent as their original Sticky Toffee Pudding, but wonderfully chocolatey. Indigent and delicious.

Cartmel Sticky Chocolate Sauce - 170g
