Give the gin-lover in your life a treat with this stunningly delicious pink rhubarb gin from Warner’s Distillery. What started out as a limited edition, cooked up from using rhubarb reportedly from Queen Victoria's crop, soon became such a favourite that Warner’s knew it would be criminal not to keep going.
Handmade in small batches, Warner’s create real gin that has the countryside in and this one contains freshly pressed rhubarb juice, which gives the gin its naturally pink colour, along with juniper, coriander seed, elderflower, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, orange peel, lemon peel, plus an extra secret ingredient!
Fresh, tangy rhubarb explodes on the nose with a pinch of black pepper. The palate gives complex and mouth-watering rhubarb with cardamom and sweet orange before the rhubarb returns with cinnamon for a long, sweet finish.
Cracking with Mediterranean tonic or ginger ale (you choose), garnish with a wedge of orange if you have some.
