Alfred Enderby has been smoking salmon and haddock in a wonderfully traditional way for over 100 years.
Their traditional smokehouse in Grimsby, with its distinctive ornate iron cowls, is roughly a century old, with two generations of the Enderby family involved in running it for two-thirds of that time. They pride themselves on the high quality of skill and craftsmanship that goes into their now award-winning smoked fish products.

In 2018, Alfred Enderby Ltd received two Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food – A three star ‘exquisite’ award for their smoked salmon and a two star 'outstanding' award for their smoked haddock.
After over 40 years of service and a long 10 year process, Enderby’s was awarded PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status for their Grimsby Traditional Smoked Haddock in 2009.
