We are delighted to stock the products that Direct Meats produce in our hampers. In May 1995, Direct Meats Ltd was founded by third generation local farmer Martin Blackwell. Coming from a large faring family in North Essex, with a passion for quality meat Martin recognised a gap in the market for a specialist meat provider. 

Direct Meats have been recognised with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. Managing director Martin said ‘To be awarded the Queen’s award is testament to our hard-working staff and the farmer/ producer brands we work with, who allow us to export their products. We are classed as a small and medium-sized enterprise and to receive an award with global standing recognises our innovative movement into an incredibly challenging global market.’
