Nick Carlucci and his father Mike have worked together to put Tenuta Marmorelle firmly on the UK food scene.

Mike’s story is rooted in family, food, and a love for Italy. His parents were born near Brindisi, in a beautiful town at the heel of Italy. Though they moved to the UK, Mike spent his childhood summers in Italy, surrounded by family, incredible food, and rich traditions. Mike moved to Italy to restore a 300-year-old farmhouse with olive groves, just outside the town where his parents were born. It was here, alongside his sons, that he began producing his own extra virgin olive oil, a journey that would grow into Tenuta Marmorelle.

From olive trees to award-winning Italian products

Inspired by the quality and flavour of their own harvest, Mike and his family decided to bottle their extra virgin olive oil, and it very quickly gained recognition in the UK and internationally. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and it became clear there was a real appetite for authentic Italian products. This first success with their award-winning ZERO Extra Virgin Olive Oil led to an expansion into artisan pasta produced by friends in their local town. This led to forming the Tenuta Marmorelle brand we know today.

A journey built on tradition, quality, and growth

Founded in 2014, Tenuta Marmorelle was Mike and Nick’s first venture into the food world, but his experience in distribution gave the brand a strong foundation. Early on, they focused on letting customers taste the products, sharing the story behind each bottle and jar. That personal approach worked. Retailers wanted to stock the products, and today Tenuta Marmorelle continues to grow, featured in fine food retailers, farm shops, and delis across the UK, as well as online.
