We are delighted to stock Pol Roger within our hampers. It was established in 1849 and is located in Epernay, Northern France. To this day, it is still owned and ran by the descendants of Pol Roger. In addition to its own 92 hectare vineyard, the house tirelessly works to ensure sourcing of the best grapes from growers, in order to maintain its current level of excellence which is recognized worldwide.
Pol Roger is immersed in British Culture, It was Winston Churchill’s favourite and the house’s prestige label is the vintage Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill. It is also a staple at Royal Weddings, and has been enjoyed by William & Kate, Eugenie & Jack and Harry & Megan. Pol Roger holds the current Royal Warrant as purveyors of champagne to Queen Elizabeth II.
